ColourPop Swatches – Liquid Lips

Welcome Back Everyone and Hello To My Newest Followers!

Today, I’m going to show swatches and also a small review of my ColourPop Cosmetics lip product collection I have. Although there are so many amazing colours, I manage to limit myself and purchase 5 liquid lipsticks.

Quick little background on the ColourPop company. ColourPop is a U.S.A brand and also made in the U.S.A. ColourPop ship internationally! Yes! Don’t let us Aussie miss out on these awesome products. Shipping is quite on the pricey side and is calculated at the end of the transaction for everyone outside U.S.A. If your in the U.S.A shipping is $4.99 USD, free shipping over $30 USD. (U.S.A. only). ColourPop is also cruelty free but not 100% vegan on some products. You can were a lists here.

So what did I get?
I purchased 4 Ultra Matte Lip and 1 Ultra Satin Lip. The 4 Ultra Matte Lip shades were Platform, Midi, Trap and Stingraye (This one was limited edition and isn’t being restocked as far as i’m aware). I also got 1 Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Dopey. Each of these were $6 USD (which converts to about $8 AUD)

Platform: This shade was darker then the picture on their website but this shade is a warm beige nude.

Midi: This shade was also darker then the picture on their website but this shade is a soft neutral light pink

Trap: Again this shade was also darker then the picture on their webiste but this shade is a sort of gray toned pink

StringRaye: This shade stayed true to the colour on their website. This shade is a more cool mauve. This was limited edition

Dopey: The shade stayed true to the colour on their website. This shade is a dusty grey toned mauve

My thoughts on the products?
Straight of the bat, the formula is light, wet and not thick but creamy. I found the formula is the same on both the satin and matte lips but the satin is a tiny bit thicker then the mattes. Not sure I found a difference between the both different types of lips. Within a minute, the texture worked their magic and created their finishing matte/satin effect. They felt a little dry but not too dry. They lasted about 6 hours without needing a touch up. The formula is none transferable. I wouldn’t recommend double application as it will feel cakey on the lips.

When swatching on my arm. it look along time to rub off.
